Job summary

Capital District Physicians Health Plan Inc seeks an Information Security Architect to drive risk-based security design and secure IT infrastructure. You will advise leadership, develop standards, and ensure cost-effective security controls across applications and networks.

You will collaborate with IT and business units to implement security programs, mentor staff, and maintain regulatory compliance including HIPAA and PCI/DSS frameworks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or relevant field; in lieu of degree, six additional years of experience.
• Experience with security architecture principles and standards.
• Ability to balance stakeholder interests through analysis and persuasion.
• Experience with identity management, MFA, enterprise directories, and cloud security controls.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement security architecture principles aligned to business strategy.
• Lead risk management initiatives with key stakeholders across IT and business units.
• Provide security consultation and design reviews for projects and initiatives.
• Mentor staff and foster a security-aware culture across the organization.
