Job summary

Waters is seeking an Informatics Business Development Specialist to lead pre-sales activities for CDS, Waters Cloud applications, and LMS software within the scientific and life sciences markets. The role requires deep product portfolio knowledge, strong customer engagement, and collaboration with field teams to advance regional revenue targets.

Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to present enterprise class software to prospective customers.
Ability to participate in customer discovery discussions and deliver tailored demonstrations aligned to customer workflows.
High energy and excellent communication skills - written and oral.
Excellent presentation, time management, decision making and organizational skills.
Ability to handle multiple projects/accounts, develop strategic plans, and drive results.
Understanding of regulatory compliance in pharmaceutical environments (GxP).
Curiosity about lab workflows and data challenges in life sciences.

Responsibilities

Provide customer-focused software solution demos and workflow analysis discussions.
Focus on customer problems and lab workflow insights.
Collaborate with Informatics Specialists and field teams.
Support Proof of Concept (POC) evaluations with customers.
Travel within the district and potentially beyond as needed.
