Job summary

S&P Global seeks a senior technology leader to set and govern the Enterprise Developer Experience strategy, vision, and roadmap. You will drive a global developer platform program, oversee tooling consolidation, and partner with divisional CTOs.

You will own end-to-end lifecycle of development platforms (CI/CD, source control, environments), build a scalable support ecosystem, and measure productivity with DORA metrics. Base salary range is $220k–$350k, with eligibility for incentives.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive technology leadership in enterprise engineering.
• Experience leading large-scale developer platforms and DevOps enablement.
• Proven ability to standardize tooling with divisional CTOs across organizations.
• Experience guiding enterprise-scale software development lifecycle tooling.

Responsibilities

• Set enterprise Developer Experience strategy, vision, roadmap, operating model, and investment priorities with CIO leadership.
• Own lifecycle of development platforms: source control, CI/CD, build systems, environments, and tooling integrations.
• Manage toolchain as a portfolio with outcomes, SLAs, adoption goals, and cost transparency.
• Build partnerships with divisional CTOs and embedded practitioners to align standards.
• Consolidate fragmented tooling and automate transitions to minimize disruption.
• Establish scalable developer support and self-service ecosystem (portals, onboarding, access management).
• Lead developer advocacy and communities of practice to drive adoption.
• Govern AI-native software engineering practices and reusable workflows.
• Create enterprise measurement for productivity (DORA metrics) and executive reporting.
• Lead a global organization across platform engineering, product management, developer support, data/AI.
