Job summary

American Electric Power is seeking a senior delivery leader to shape how technology work is executed across the enterprise. You’ll establish delivery standards, governance, and performance measurement to drive predictability and value delivery.

The role partners with Technology leadership to embed repeatable practices across teams and improve transparency. You’ll coach PMs, implement dashboards, and guide prioritization and resource planning to enable data-driven decisions at portfolio scale.

Qualifications

• 7 years of relevant work experience required.
• Experience defining or scaling delivery methodologies and PMO standards.
• Strong experience establishing metrics, dashboards, and performance tracking.
• Demonstrated ability to influence across a matrixed organization.
• Experience in Technology PMO, Portfolio Management, or transformation environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and standardize delivery practices enterprise-wide.
• Drive adoption of standardized practices across technology teams.
• Measure delivery performance with enterprise KPIs and dashboards.
• Enable portfolio transparency and data-driven decision making.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in project management, computer science, or related technical field
