Job summary

Replit in Foster City, CA is seeking a senior data scientist for its enterprise team. You will shape how the product and GTM strategy spread inside organizations and translate usage into forecastable pipeline and revenue.

You will build end-to-end enterprise metrics, run experiments, and partner with Product, Engineering, Sales, and RevOps to drive decisions. This role requires strong SQL/Python, deep retention modeling, and a track record of influencing roadmaps.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in product or GTM data science, with significant experience on B2B, collaboration, or multi-seat products.
• Hands-on experimentation with cluster randomization and small-sample designs.
• Strong retention and survival modeling, cohort analysis, and segmentation at both user and account level.
• Experience defining adoption, retention, and revenue metrics (activation, NRR, GRR, expansion) and getting the company to agree on them.
• Built scoring or forecasting models that Sales, Customer Success, or Finance actually used.
• Expert SQL, including messy CRM, billing, and product data joined at the account level; strong Python; comfortable building your own datasets in dbt.
• Track record of analysis that changed a product roadmap or GTM decision, and the confidence to push back on an attractive story when the evidence doesn't support it.
• Heavy, practical use of AI tools to move faster in your own work.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise end-to-end metrics: activation, breadth, depth, collaboration, retention.
• Quantify virality inside organizations and identify levers to accelerate network effects.
• Explain post-engagement churn and build account health models for early warning.
• Identify product behaviors that precede seat expansion and build PQA models.
• Measure adoption of admin controls, security, data connectors, and governance features.
• Design enterprise experiments: cluster randomization, staged rollouts, and Bayesian models.
• Measure impact of GTM programs with the same rigor as product launches.
• Own forecasting for pipeline, bookings, consumption, and expansion.
• Analyze pricing and packaging: seats vs consumption; contract structure effects.
• Build a trusted data layer joining product telemetry, CRM, and billing data; enable AI-driven insights.
