Job summary

City of Raleigh seeks a strategic, hands-on data leader to guide governance, platform development on Snowflake, and the enterprise data catalog. You will supervise the Data Analyst team and drive adoption of self-service analytics across departments.

As the senior role, you will set data quality standards, partner with departments and vendors, and ensure privacy and security while enabling AI-ready data practices for a data-driven city.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Business Admin or related field with relevant planning and analytics experience.
• Experience leading data initiatives and governance programs.
• Familiarity with data privacy, security, and enterprise data catalog deployment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Data Team and implement the enterprise data roadmap.
• Establish data governance policies and grow the data catalog.
• Grow BI capabilities and promote a data-driven culture across departments.
