Job summary

Beacon Pointe Advisors is seeking an enterprise data-platform leader to own Snowflake-based architecture, governance, and delivery. You will build and scale the data engineering and analytics organization, define trusted data products, and ensure secure, cost-effective, accessible data across advisory, operations, and finance.

You will lead data ingestion, ETL/ELT pipelines, and platform observability while partnering with senior stakeholders to drive analytics, automation, and AI readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Analytics, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years in data engineering, data architecture, analytics, BI, or related roles.
• Experience leading a data-engineering function in a regulated organization.
• Hands-on depth in Snowflake including multi-workload architecture, RBAC, performance and cost optimization.
• Experience designing data models (dimensional, star/snowflake) and analytic marts.
• Strong SQL and understanding of relational and cloud data platforms.
• Experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and data integration.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Strong prioritization and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience in Financial Services or wealth management is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the Snowflake data environment with a focus on reliability, security, and cost effectiveness.
• Provide technical leadership for data ingestion, transformations, and delivery from multiple sources.
• Guide development of ETL/ELT pipelines and modern data engineering practices.
• Establish monitoring, testing, lineage, observability, and troubleshooting standards.
• Define data-access controls, governance, and policy-based protection across platforms.
• Partner with security and identity teams to ensure compliant data sharing and governance.
• Lead enterprise data modeling efforts and create a trusted single source of truth for reporting.
• Collaborate with business leaders to translate analytics needs into technical solutions.
