Horizon Media in New York City is seeking a Director of Enterprise Data Governance to lead the enterprise data governance program and partner with Technology, Legal, Privacy and analytics teams. You will implement data governance policies, drive data quality, stewardship, privacy and regulatory compliance as Horizon evolves from a data processor to a data controller.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information management, information systems or related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Information Governance or Privacy Operations.
• Experience implementing governance frameworks and governance technologies (OneTrust, Collibra, Purview).

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data governance, policies, standards and procedures across Horizon.
• Develop data stewardship program and define data owners, stewards and custodians.
• Improve data quality, lineage, metadata, catalogs and privacy controls.
• Collaborate with Legal, Privacy and IT to ensure regulatory readiness and risk mitigation.
• Document governance metrics, dashboards and reporting for leadership.
