Job summary

Dallas College seeks an Assistant Vice Chancellor, Enterprise Data Architecture and Reporting to lead enterprise data strategy, governance, and official reporting. You will guide data warehousing, ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance, while advancing AI-friendly modernization.

The role reports to the Senior Associate Vice Chancellor for Strategic Research, Analytics & Effectiveness and leads a team of data professionals across IT and academic units.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in information systems, data engineering, analytics, or related field.
• Eight years in data warehousing, data engineering, governance, analytics, or official reporting.
• Five years leading teams and managing professionals.
• Experience with state/federal higher education reporting; Texas preferred.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python; experience with modern data platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise strategy and multi-year roadmap for data warehousing, governance, and official reporting.
• Oversee architecture, development, integration, performance, and reliability of the enterprise data warehouse.
• Lead data governance, stewardship, and data-quality initiatives across the college.
• Provide executive oversight for official reporting and compliance submissions; manage AI/automation roadmap.
