Qualifications

• Master’s degree in information systems, data science, analytics, or related field.
• Eight years of experience in data warehousing, governance, or official reporting, with higher ed background.
• Five years of experience leading and developing teams.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python; experience with modern data platforms.
• Experience implementing data governance, metadata, lineage, and data-quality practices.
• Experience using AI and automation to improve data engineering and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an enterprise strategy and multi-year roadmap for data warehousing and governance.
• Oversee architecture, development, integration, and reliability of the data warehouse.
• Ensure data ingestion, modeling, testing, and release processes produce accurate data assets.
• Lead data governance, stewardship networks, and policy standards.
• Provide executive oversight for state and federal reporting and submissions.
• Develop a responsible AI/automation roadmap while maintaining human validation.
• Lead and develop data warehousing and reporting teams; set goals and development plans.
• Ensure compliant data handling per FERPA, privacy, and cybersecurity standards.
