Job summary

The role requires strong SQL/Python skills, cloud data platforms, and a track record of transforming data into institutional insights while guiding teams through organizational change and AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in information systems, or a related field.
• Eight or more years of progressively responsible data experience, including in a higher education environment.
• Five years of leadership experience and team development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-year enterprise data strategy and roadmap.
• Set operating standards, performance measures, and decision rights for data warehousing and reporting.
• Oversee architecture, development, integration, and reliability of the data warehouse.
• Ensure data ingestion, transformation, modeling, testing, and documentation are accurate and scalable.
• Lead data governance, stewardship, and policies with IT and business partners.
• Implement data-quality rules, scorecards, and issue remediation.
• Provide executive oversight for official reporting to state, federal, and accreditation bodies.
• Lead adoption of responsible AI and automation with human validation.
