Job summary

RSI EnTech, LLC in Morgantown, WV is seeking an Enterprise Data Analyst to develop and maintain the Department of Energy’s LM enterprise data architecture. You will work with governance, IT, and business units to improve data quality and standards, supporting data-driven decisions and compliance with DOE policies.

The role requires 4–6 years in data architecture/management, with strong SQL, BI tooling (Power BI), and metadata knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in data architecture, management, or governance.
• Experience with enterprise data, metadata management, BI, analytics, or information governance.
• Experience with BI tools like Power BI and relational databases preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise data architecture including conceptual, logical, and physical data models, metadata, glossaries, taxonomies, and data standards.
• Partner with business units to understand processes, identify data requirements, and drive data quality and accessibility improvements.
• Support governance councils by developing master data sets, data standards, and metadata governance practices.
• Analyze data sources to identify relationships, redundancies, and opportunities for standardization.
• Collaborate with DBAs, analysts, and developers to ensure alignment with data architecture standards.
• Research emerging data architecture practices and information governance standards.
• Ensure data handling complies with DOE security and privacy requirements and governance policies.
• Assist in developing the enterprise data roadmap and support maturity initiatives.
• Support BI and analytics initiatives by improving data availability and quality.
• Document data flows, data lineage, and metadata to improve reuse of information assets.
