Job summary

RSI EnTech, LLC in Westminster, CO seeks an Enterprise Data Analyst to develop and maintain the DOE LM enterprise data architecture, ensuring data is organized, governed, secure, and accessible to support operations and decision-making.

This role partners with Information Governance, IT, and business operations to improve data quality, establish standards, create data models, and support the data maturity roadmap while ensuring compliance with DOE policies. Travel less than 10% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Information Management, Business Analytics, or related field.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in data architecture, data management, information architecture, business intelligence, analytics, or information governance.
• Experience working with enterprise data, relational databases, metadata management, or business intelligence tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise data architecture including conceptual, logical, and physical data models, metadata, business glossaries, taxonomies, and data standards.
• Partner with business units to understand business processes, identify data requirements, and recommend improvements that increase data quality, accessibility, integration, and lifecycle management.
• Support the Unified Governance Council and associated working groups by developing master data sets, data standards, business definitions, metadata, and governance practices.
• Analyze enterprise data sources to identify relationships, redundancies, quality issues, and opportunities for standardization.
• Collaborate with application owners, database administrators, business analysts, and developers to ensure enterprise solutions align with approved data architecture standards.
• Research emerging technologies, industry standards, and best practices in enterprise data architecture, metadata management, master data management, analytics, and information governance.
• Ensure enterprise data are managed according to DOE security requirements, privacy requirements, records management policies, and information governance standards.
• Assist with developing the organization's enterprise data roadmap and support implementation of data maturity initiatives.
• Support reporting, business intelligence, and analytics initiatives by improving the availability, consistency, and quality of enterprise data.
• Document data flows, system integrations, data lineage, and metadata to improve organizational understanding and reuse of enterprise information assets.
• Other duties as assigned.
