Job summary

Grid Dynamics is seeking a Delivery Data Architect to drive the technical execution of major engagements with Fortune 1000 clients and strengthen the Data Engineering practice across our global units in the USA, Europe, and Asia.

You will oversee implementation of data platforms, lead technical directions, and mentor engineers while collaborating with stakeholders to deliver enterprise data solutions. A strong background in data governance, cloud data platforms, and AI/ML tools is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of production-grade experience in data engineering, governance, and cloud data platforms.
• Proven experience as Software Architect or Staff/Principal Engineer.
• Strong cloud architectures for data collection, aggregation, reporting and BI.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale analytical programs.
• Excellent communication and leadership with clients and teams.
• Deep domain knowledge in Finance, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Energy, or Travel; IoT/Customer 360 experience.
• Hands‑on experience in AI/ML platforms, MLOps, and LLMOps.
• Cloud platforms: GCP, AWS, or Azure (at least one, two preferred).
• Data engineering: data lakes, EDW, Spark, Flink, Kafka, data governance, data mesh, Snowflake, Databricks.
• Transactional databases: Redis, Ignite, Cassandra, MongoDB.
• ML & MLOps: Vertex AI, Sagemaker, Dataiku, Databricks.
• LLMOps: LLMs (open/closed source), caching, fine‑tuning, Ray.

Responsibilities

• Execute corporate data strategies and deploy advanced data platforms.
• Set technical direction and mentor engineering teams.
• Bridge between business/product stakeholders and engineering; explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Stay up‑to‑date with data/AI trends and integrate emerging tech balanced with pragmatism.
• Lead technical discovery workshops and architecture assessments for seamless kick‑offs.
