Job summary

Zoho is seeking an Enterprise Pre‑Sales/Solutions Engineer for its Data & Analytics Platform in Austin. You will be the technical expert across the enterprise sales cycle, mapping capabilities to requirements, and architecting tailored solutions from data ingestion to AI-powered analytics.

You will lead POCs, pilots, and technical demonstrations for executives and analysts, and enable sales with deep analytics expertise and governance awareness.

Qualifications

• Proven enterprise pre-sales or technical pre-sales experience with enterprise accounts.
• Experience interpreting complex datasets, generating insights and communicating findings.
• Excellent demos and presentation skills to C-level audiences.
• Comfort navigating multi-stakeholder evaluations, POCs and procurement processes.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field (or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of relational databases, data warehouses, and data lakehouse.
• Hands-on experience building data pipelines and ETL/ELT tooling.
• Familiarity with real-time, batch, ETL and various data sources.
• Experience designing semantic layers and reusable data models.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical expert in enterprise sales cycles, partnering with account executives to qualify opportunities and drive the technical win.
• Lead solution architecture, POCs, and pilots across data sources, ingestion, lakehouse, unification and activation.
• Build dashboards and data models combining data from enterprise apps to show business value.
• Design semantic layers and a common data model to support analytics and AI.
• Showcase AI capabilities and AI-assisted workflows over governed data.
• Deliver technical proposals and responses to RFPs/RFIs.
• Address scalability, integration, and governance requirements for customers.
• Provide internal enablement to sales and engineering teams.
• Capture field insights to influence product roadmaps.
