Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Regulatory Management professional to drive internal control discipline and operational excellence within a Line of Business or Enterprise Control Function. The role focuses on monitoring controls, QA, and data-driven remediation to meet enterprise standards in a high-stakes environment.

You will review transactions and credit/loan documentation for regulatory requirements, collaborate with credit teams, and support audits and regulatory exams.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in risk management, compliance, underwriting or operations.
• Ability to execute in a production environment with a positive, energetic attitude and self-management.
• Familiar with underwriting platforms such as CreditCenter, GUS, Workplace and document repository systems such as EDR and Squirrel.
• Must have the ability to solve complex problems, be detail oriented, and demonstrate a high regard for data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the design and effectiveness of the risk and control environment to support Client Operational Services and ensure adherence to enterprise-wide standards.
• Supports the monitoring and testing of controls by evaluating data to identify issues and control improvements for remediation.
• Implements optimized controls and enhanced Quality Assurance (QA) practices to support business continuity efforts.
• Conducts and coordinates quality inspection reviews to enhance employee performance and control effectiveness.
• Performs QA activities including executing on controls, managing cases, and reporting results.
• Executes initiatives by identifying areas of potential testing automation, procedural updates, thematic trends, test script updates, and coaching opportunities to enhance QA program success.
• Supports the overall management of and research required for regulatory exams, internal audits, and other monitoring and inspection reviews and evaluates data and information relevant to inspection metrics to support governance activities for dashboard reporting.
• Review credit and loan documentation to ensure requirements are met
• Partner with credit teams to obtain necessary information and provide guidance and coaching as appropriate to ensure adherence with the regulation.
