Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a senior Business Control Manager to lead internal control discipline and operational excellence within a Line of Business or Enterprise Control Function. The role focuses on executing processes to drive adherence to enterprise standards, implementing QA practices, and supporting regulatory exams and audits.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in Audit/Compliance/Risk, experience with wealth-management operations, and a proven ability to transform control environments

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Audit, Compliance, or Risk in a large financial services company with progression in complexity.

Responsibilities

• Oversees design and effectiveness of risk and control environment and adherence to enterprise-wide standards.
• Supports monitoring and testing of controls by evaluating data to identify issues and improvements for remediation.
• Executes initiatives by identifying areas for testing automation, procedural updates, trends, test script updates, and coaching opportunities.
• Supports regulatory exams, internal audits, and other monitoring reviews with data needed for inspection metrics and governance dashboards.
• Leads assessment of design and effectiveness of risk and control environment to ensure adherence to standards.
• Leads implementation of optimized controls and QA practices to support business continuity.
• Manages and reviews all frontline unit responses for regulatory exams and audits.
• Ensures accuracy of data for inspection metrics to support governance dashboards.
