Bank of America is seeking a seasoned professional to lead internal control discipline and operational excellence within the Enterprise Control Function. The role focuses on governance, testing, remediation, and risk awareness across lines of business, with a strong emphasis on AI governance and regulatory alignment.

You will partner with operations, legal, risk, and audit teams, driving control design, performance metrics, and escalation protocols to sustain resilient business performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in Audit, Compliance, or Risk in a large financial services company with progression in complexity.
• Experience supporting AI governance and oversight with responsible AI principles, risk management practices, and regulatory controls.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and build a function or team from the ground up.
• Proven success leading large-scale control, testing, or operating model transformations across multiple business groups.
• Strong written and verbal communications to inform senior management.

Responsabilités

• Represent GEAR in enterprise AI and Copilot governance forums and workgroups.
• Translate AI strategy and risk expectations into practical requirements for stakeholders.
• Lead assessment of risk and control design to support Client Operational Services and ensure standards.
• Identify AI opportunities to improve processes, reduce manual effort, strengthen controls, and deliver value.
• Manage AI opportunity pipeline from ideation through adoption and benefits measurement.
• Coordinate risk assessments, approvals, documentation, readiness activities, and stakeholder engagement for AI-enabled solutions.
• Lead governance routines, including agendas, materials, minutes, action tracking, and reporting.
• Define adherence measures, control performance indicators, and remediation progress.
• Support control monitoring and testing; evaluate results and identify improvement opportunities.
• Establish governance routines and escalation protocols to enable timely decisions.
• Ensure data accuracy for inspection metrics and dashboard reporting.
