Job summary

AHCCCS, Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System, seeks an Agency Compliance Manager to lead the agency's enterprise compliance program, governance, investigations, and training. This role reports to the Chief Compliance Officer and guides policy management, risk mitigation, and reporting with a focus on integrity and accountability.

The role emphasizes building a culture of ethics, providing strategic oversight, and coordinating with the Office of the Director.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in compliance, business administration, public administration, health administration, law, accounting, auditing, or a closely related field and five years of progressively responsible experience in compliance, regulatory oversight, audit, investigations, internal controls, risk management, or a related function, including two years of supervisory or program-lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise compliance program leadership, work planning, and staff management with an enterprise view of risks and priorities.
• Direct policy life cycle, governance, and controls for conduct, policies, and procedures; coordinate with OGC and subject-matter experts.
• Oversee reporting channels, investigations, escalation, and corrective actions with defensible case records.
• Coordinate risk-based monitoring and audit coordination; support external audits and regulatory reviews; align with governance bodies.
