Job summary

Fitch Group seeks a Cloud AI Platform Architect to lead the enterprise AI platform strategy in New York. You’ll provision and operate AI platforms (Anthropic/OpenAI) across multi-cloud, ensuring security, governance, and reliability for Fitch Group businesses.

You will partner with DevOps, SRE, and Security teams to enable safe, cost-controlled, scalable AI services with strong access controls and auditable usage. Hybrid work available.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience deploying or operating Anthropic and/or OpenAI in enterprise or production environments.
• Experience providing AI services via Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud.
• Background in DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure with productionizing platforms.
• Experience partnering with Information Security on access controls and governance.
• Experience with API platforms, environment separation, and multi-tenant/multi-org designs.

Responsibilities

• Design and run enterprise AI platforms securely provisioned, governed, monitored, and scaled.
• Collaborate with Core Engineering and Reliability squads to integrate AI platforms into the Fitch Cloud ecosystem.
• Enable self-service access with guardrails and policy compliance.
• Evaluate Anthropic and OpenAI capabilities for enterprise readiness and safe experimentation.
• Establish guardrails for cost management and forecasting with TechOps and Finance.
• Embed security, privacy, and data controls into AI platform configurations.
