Fitch Group in New York, NY, is seeking a Cloud AI Platform Architect (Director) to lead enterprise AI deployment. You will own the platforms that enable Anthropic and OpenAI usage across Fitch Group, working with Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Engineering to scale secure, production-ready solutions.

This leadership role emphasizes DevOps, security, governance, and cost management, partnering with SRE, TechOps, and Information Security to embed controls and ensure compliant, auditable AI

Qualifications

• Hands-on deployment/operation of Anthropic and OpenAI in enterprise environments.
• Experience delivering AI services on Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Strong DevOps / platform engineering background for production-ready AI platforms.
• Collaboration with Information Security on access controls and governance.
• Ability to design scalable, secure, and compliant AI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise AI platform deployment and governance across Fitch Group.
• Own provisioning, security, monitoring, and scaling of AI platforms.
• Partner with Core Engineering and Reliability squads to integrate platforms.
• Enable self-service access with guardrails and policy compliance.
• Define cost management, forecasting, and financial controls.
• Collaborate with Information Security on access controls and data handling.
• Drive Infrastructure-as-Code and platform provisioning practices.
• Ensure auditability and incident-ready runbooks and docs.
