• Experience designing and evolving backend/distributed systems architecture.
• Hands-on experience building AI agents and LLM-based workflows.
• Ability to drive adoption without direct authority and earn trust.
• Customer-centric approach to engineering problems.
• Experience defining technical standards across teams.
• Proven AI adoption across engineering squads.
• Experience mapping dependencies and modernization programs.

Responsibilities

• Be the Architect Engineers Call First: provide direct guidance to engineering squads in your line of business.
• Support ARB/JAD Sessions: help squads prepare for reviews and reduce back-and-forth.
• Build Agents for the EA Lifecycle: contribute to agents powering evaluation and governance.
• Translate Standards Into Practice: make principles concrete for engineers building systems.
• Prototype Before You Recommend: build working pattern examples to prove value.
• Partner Across Engineering: tailor guidance to each squad's context.
• Champion AI-Based Development: promote AI-assisted development and guardrails.
• Drive Down Technical Liabilities: map debt and modernization priorities.
• Automate Upgrades and Modernization: enable automated dependency upgrades.
• Own Reference Architectures & Code: maintain reusable references across the line of business.
