Perplexity is seeking an experienced Billing Operations Manager who will own the enterprise billing lifecycle, from setup to invoicing, renewals, and amendments. Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 7+ years in billing operations, order-to-cash, or revenue-related finance functions, with enterprise SaaS billing experience.
- Ability to translate complex customer agreements into accurate billing schedules and adjustments.
- Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce; familiarity with tax engines and billing platforms.
- Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and revenue recognition concepts.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Own enterprise and reseller billing from setup to invoicing, renewals, amendments, and cancellations.
- Review nonstandard billing terms with Deal Desk and Enterprise Sales; assess feasibility.
- Translate pricing terms into billing configurations, including prorations and credits.
- Handle billing inquiries, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate credits/rebills.
- Reconcile contract/subscription/usage data; support month-end close and audits.
- Identify and resolve billing system integration issues.
- Support renewals and expansions with analysis of seats, usage, and true-ups.
