Job summary

American Sound in Columbus, OH is seeking an Account Executive to drive AV sales and build a robust book of business across commercial clients. You will work with a dedicated technical engineer and leadership team to deliver customized solutions and advance a formal sales process.

The role offers a defined career path, a draw-based compensation plan with commission after targets are met, and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial AV sales experience with a quota track record.
• Experience managing a full sales cycle from prospecting to contract.
• Comfort with draw-against-commission structures and selling to non-technical buyers.

Responsibilities

• Sell commercial audio-visual design, integration, and support solutions to enterprise, healthcare, and education clients.
• Drive new business early in ramp time (roughly 70%), then focus on account growth and retention (roughly 30/70).
• Build relationships through networking to source new opportunities.
• Run the full sales cycle: discovery, proposal generation, negotiation, and close.
• Partner with a dedicated technical engineer to scope and deliver customized client solutions.
• Manage pipeline and forecast using our CRM and sales process.
