Job summary

American Sound is seeking an Account Executive in Louisville, KY to drive commercial AV solutions sales. You will lead the full sales cycle—from discovery to close—while collaborating with a dedicated technical engineer to deliver tailored client solutions.

A strong network in enterprise, healthcare, and education helps you build a robust pipeline and grow existing accounts. The role follows a structured MEDDPICC-based process with a focus on achieving pipeline targets and long-term growth

Qualifications

5+ years of commercial AV sales experience with a track record of hitting quota.
Experience managing a full sales cycle from prospecting to contract.
Comfort working within a draw-against-commission structure.
Strong written and verbal communication selling technical solutions to non-technical buyers.

Responsibilities

Sell commercial audio-visual design, integration, and support solutions to enterprise, healthcare, and education clients.
Drive new business early in ramp (about 70% time) and shift toward account growth as pipeline matures (about 30/70).
Build relationships through networking with commercial and corporate groups to source opportunities.
Run full sales cycle: discovery, proposal generation, negotiation, and close.
Partner with a dedicated technical engineer to scope and deliver customized client solutions.
Manage your pipeline and forecast using our CRM and sales process.
