Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an AV Service Technician to support and maintain high-end enterprise AV systems in executive environments from its New York client base. This contract role targets professionals with 3+ years of AV field service and strong Crestron/AMX expertise.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of AV field service experience (5+ years installation experience considered).
• Hands-on experience with Crestron and/or AMX systems.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and customer-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot system, signal, and connectivity issues using diagnostic tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance on client systems.
• Conduct site surveys to support service agreements and quotes.
• Write clear, concise service reports and system documentation.
• Interface professionally with enterprise-level customers and mentor junior technicians.
