The City of San José is seeking an Enterprise Development Services and Business Automation Manager to lead enterprise-level development services and business automation across City departments. This technical manager role drives strategy, governance, and secure, integrated technology solutions aligned with organizational priorities.

Responsibilities include leading teams, managing budgets, enforcing cybersecurity standards, and evaluating new technologies for measurable value and ROI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or closely related field.
• Seven+ years of experience managing, maintaining and implementing significant technology programs and related infrastructure.
• Five+ years of supervisory experience over technical staff, including project personnel management.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement the technology strategy aligned with business objectives; oversee integration of new technologies and project management from conception to evaluation.
• Lead the Business Automation and Development Services teams; hire, train, and evaluate staff; foster collaboration and innovation.
• Ensure reliability, security, and performance of systems; oversee maintenance, upgrades, and scalable solutions across departments.
