Job summary

Seattle City Light, a department of the City of Seattle, is seeking an Enterprise Manager to lead the Asset Management & Data Services program and a team of seven. The role directs enterprise asset management, policy development, and investment planning to align with city goals.

The position emphasizes data standardization, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration across engineering, project delivery, operations, and finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years in strategic asset management or related processes.
• Experience managing complex cross-disciplinary projects and programs.
• Strong leadership, budget, planning, and workforce management skills.
• Excellent communication and ability to convey concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to plan ongoing maintenance, repair, replacement and acquisition of capital assets.
• Develop and implement asset policies and Master Plans to improve reliability and sustainability.
• Guide decisions on modernization and automation of transmission, distribution and generation assets.
• Develop life-cycle costing and options analyses to maximize reliability and minimize costs.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, finance and risk teams for project prioritization and budgeting.
• Direct and mentor the Asset Management team and manage staff development.
• Administer the Asset Management program budget and track expenditures.
• Serve as business owner for the asset management software and provide training.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external clients to achieve objectives.
• Work a hybrid schedule with about 2 in-office days weekly.
