Job summary

United Power in Brighton, CO seeks an Asset Manager to lead the development, governance, and continuous improvement of the asset management program. You will oversee the Asset Management team, drive lifecycle strategies, and ensure data quality in GIS and EAM systems to support capital planning and reliability.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree related to asset management and at least five years of experience in asset management, with strong cross-functional leadership and data-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in asset management, engineering, business administration, finance, accounting, information systems, data analytics, or a related field and a minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in asset management or related field.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and using asset or operational data to support decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead Asset Management team, set priorities, accountability, service levels and performance expectations.
• Develop and maintain a multi-year asset management program roadmap with governance and milestones.
• Create lifecycle strategies for electric distribution and general plant assets from planning through disposal.
• Establish lifecycle monitoring standards by asset class and program metrics.
• Develop long-range renewal forecasts identifying risks, maintenance needs, and lifecycle costs.
• Provide risk-based decision frameworks considering asset condition, criticality, safety, reliability, and financial impacts.
• Maintain asset registry and condition database using GIS and EAM systems.
• Develop dashboards and recurring/ad hoc reports on asset health, failures, maintenance, and lifecycle costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align asset decisions with organizational goals.
