Job summary

Commonwealth Business Bank is seeking an Application Administrator II for the Los Angeles area. This full-time position focuses on configuring, maintaining, and securing enterprise software within a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities include user support, system maintenance, deployment governance, UAT coordination, performance optimization, and thorough documentation. The role requires 3–5 years in IT infrastructure and banking software, with a preference for experience

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in IT infrastructure, enterprise software administration, and application support, with direct experience working within banking or financial services institutions required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with FIS banking system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• User Support & Incident Management: Provide technical and application-related support for bank applications and software systems; log incidents and guide users to effective solutions.
• System Maintenance: Monitor enterprise application performance, assist with version upgrades, and perform routine configuration updates for uptime.
• Deployment & Project Governance: Assist in deployment planning and execution; help define scopes and milestones to meet deadlines.
• User Acceptance Testing & Implementation: Coordinate UAT for new releases ensuring smooth transitions for business units.
• Performance Tuning & Optimization: Monitor performance and assist with bottlenecks; support improvements to workflows.
• Documentation & Knowledge Management: Maintain internal knowledge bases with troubleshooting protocols and core processes.
• Core & Specialized System Support: Administer core processing systems, loan origination systems, reporting databases, and enterprise platforms.
