System1 is seeking a strategic technologist to build the technical selling function for MapQuest APIs from the ground up, supporting two enterprise sellers, and your fingerprints will be on every deal we win. This is not a demo role; you will prove it works with real data before customers sign.

You will run technical discovery, build proofs with real addresses and routes, win bakeoffs against Google Maps and Mapbox, and craft migration guides and demos that make future deals easier.

Qualificações

• Experience turning an API into a working proof with real-world data.
• Strong ability to run technical discovery with engineering leaders.
• Ability to win bakeoffs against competing mappings platforms.
• Experience creating migration guides, code samples and evaluation frameworks.
• Comfort communicating with both developers and VPs.

Responsabilidades

• Run technical discovery with engineering leaders: architecture and workflows.
• Build proofs with real customer addresses, routes and datasets.
• Win bakeoffs against competitors with data-driven demos.
• Create migration guides and tools to ease switching from incumbents.
• Own the technical win through customer sign-off and handoff to implementation.
• Build reusable demos and evaluation frameworks for future deals.
