Job summary

KPMG is seeking a Manager, AI Engineer to lead the design and delivery of enterprise AI solutions in advisory engagements. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, or related field is required; master’s preferred.
• At least five years of AI/ML, data engineering, or cloud solution engineering experience; two+ years in a consulting/client-facing leadership role.
• Experience with two major cloud AI platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Strong Python skills or equivalent, plus API, microservices, containers, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with MLOps, model monitoring, retraining pipelines, drift detection, and data engineering.
• Experience with conversational/generative AI, chatbots, or AI-powered automation.
• Knowledge of AI security, privacy, governance, and responsible AI frameworks; cloud AI/ML certifications a plus.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; travel willingness; US work authorization without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop end-to-end AI/ML solutions using cloud AI services.
• Define architectures integrating LLMs, generative AI, traditional ML, and enterprise platforms.
• Manage project activities across architecture, model development, integration, and testing with MLOps and security best practices.
• Partner with clients to translate business objectives into technical solutions and measurable outcomes.
• Lead workshops with executives and stakeholders to develop AI roadmaps.
• Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with alliance partners; ensure timely deliverables and risk management.
