Job summary

Tray.ai, the enterprise orchestration platform for data and AI, is hiring a Sales Engineer to be the technical strategist in every deal. You will partner with Account Executives to run the technical sale end-to-end, from discovery to solution design, demos, POCs, and the technical close across our platform.

This role is not order-taking: you own the technical thread, drive deals forward, and shape how customers build and ship their use cases with Tray’s tools.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in pre-sales, solutions engineering, or technical consulting.
• Experience with SaaS, iPaaS, automation, or AI platforms.
• Experience with complex enterprise cycles and POC execution.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical sale and lead discovery, design tailored demos, and build POCs.
• Architect solutions on Tray’s platform and drive the technical close.
• Be a strategic deal partner and influence deal strategy with AEs.
• Help buyers build future use cases and translate value to engineers/executives.
• Stay current on AI agents, LLMs, MCP, and share reusable assets.
