Job summary

Valence, the AI-native coaching platform, seeks a solutions leader to drive enterprise implementations for Nadia, our AI coach. You will design, implement, and evaluate high-impact workflows, balancing bespoke and reusable architectures, and building tooling to scale deployments across Fortune 500 environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in solutions engineering, forward-deployed engineering, or consulting engineering, ideally with enterprise-facing experience.
• LLM/AI experience: prompt design, evaluation, and deployment of LLM-powered systems.
• Systems & judgment: decide bespoke vs reusable, design for modularity without over-engineering.
• Enterprise craft: stakeholder management, discovery, and communication.
• Collaborate with Product, AI Engineering, and Coaching SMEs to deliver measurable impact.
• Quality mindset: ensure accuracy, safety, and performance while remaining pragmatic.
• Growth mindset focused on continuous skill development in evolving AI landscape.
• Startup DNA: comfort navigating ambiguity and high-velocity execution.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end AI solutions: lead the full lifecycle for enterprise-grade workflows from discovery to iteration.
• Architect for reuse: identify repeatable patterns, modularize components, and define productization thresholds.
• Drive quality and evaluation: define prompting standards, guardrails, and success metrics; build scalable evaluation frameworks.
• Make hard tradeoffs: balance speed vs. scalability and avoid over-engineering.
• Collaborate deeply: partner with Product, AI Engineering, and Coaching SMEs to deliver measurable impact.
• Mentor and level up others: guide associates or EMs in prompting and integration; contribute to playbooks and templates.
• Measure outcomes: track deployment speed, adoption, satisfaction, and quality; find opportunities for reuse.
