Job summary

Rackspace Technology is seeking a Solutions Architect, Forward Deployed, to lead presales for enterprise AI initiatives across customer engagements in the United States. You will diagnose business challenges, co-design AI solutions, and deliver working prototypes on Palantir Foundry/AIP and AWS Bedrock within fast timelines.

You will align technical narratives with sales cycles, design production-grade AI apps, and mentor teams while traveling to on-site customer workshops and engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or related discipline.
• 10+ years in software engineering, data engineering, or AI/ML delivery.
• Presales or field engineering experience in enterprise AI.
• Proven experience with Palantir Foundry and Palantir AIP.
• Hands-on with Python, Docker, Kubernetes, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with AWS AI and data services (Bedrock, SageMaker).
• Ability to translate customer needs into Statements of Work / Scope.
• Willingness to travel ~25% (up to 50% for on-site engagements).

Responsibilities

• Drive top-of-funnel opportunity creation with sales and partners.
• Lead on-site discovery and co-design AI solutions with stakeholders.
• Own the technical narrative across the sales cycle, including architecture workshops and security reviews.
• Translate customer needs into actionable work packages and SBOWs.
• Design and prototype enterprise AI workflows and pipelines with data from customers.
• Build reusable demo assets and accelerators for future engagements.
