Job summary

Rackspace Technology is seeking a Solutions Architect, Forward Deployed, to sit at the front of the sales motion and win business by building working AI demonstrations for enterprise customers. The role embeds with customers to diagnose problems, co-design AI solutions on-site, and prove them out with rapid prototypes in days rather than quarters.

You will work with Palantir Foundry, AIP, and AWS Bedrock on Rackspace Private Cloud, or the customer’s AWS cloud, building production-grade AI apps

Qualifications

• Experience in presales engineering for enterprise AI solutions.
• Ability to diagnose business problems and co-design AI solutions on-site.
• Strong communication and whiteboarding skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive top-of-funnel opportunity creation with sales and partners, including executive demonstrations.
• Lead on-site discovery to diagnose challenges and map customer data for AI solutions.
• Own the technical narrative across the sales cycle, including architecture workshops and bake-offs.
• Translate customer needs into Statements of Work and actionable work packages.
• Develop ROI models linking AI ambition to data foundation work for procurement viability.
• Identify expansion opportunities and hand off to delivery with clear success criteria.
