Job summary

Maynard Nexsen is seeking an experienced AI engineer to design, build, and deploy custom AI agents and agentic workflows, accelerating the firm's AI adoption.

Responsibilities include developing API-based integrations across Microsoft 365 and legal AI tools, configuring MCP servers, and surfacing automation opportunities with practice group leaders. You will own the AI delivery roadmap and enforce data governance to meet security and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in enterprise AI engineering or solutions architecture.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, AI, or related field.
• Experience with MCP server configuration is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI agents and agentic workflows.
• Develop API-based integrations across enterprise systems.
• Configure MCP server implementations with firm tools and data connections.
• Engage with practice leaders to identify automation opportunities.
• Own AI delivery roadmap with CIO/AI Steering Committee.
• Enforce data governance across integrations and ensure compliance.
