Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist on the Applied AI team to help secure Claude across enterprise accounts. You will combine deep security expertise with customer-facing collaboration, shaping technical security plans and guiding pilots to production workloads.

You will work with account teams, product and engineering, and partners to deliver security outcomes, staying current on new vulnerabilities and tools while traveling for workshops as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in security roles with hands-on depth in at least two areas (AppSec, secure SDLC, offense, detection, or threat intel)
• Experience in a technical customer-facing role or security team with leadership buy-in
• Experience with large enterprise customers and complex multi-stakeholder buying cycles
• Ability to translate between security, engineering, and executives
• Comfort with Python, CI/CD, and cloud environments; hands-on use of LLMs for security work
• Love of teaching and collaboration across teams and priorities

Responsibilities

• Join account teams to understand customer security program and turn Claude into a technical plan and business case
• Serve as the security-domain technical advisor on strategic enterprise accounts
• Move customers from one-time code scanning to sustained security workloads: application security in the SDLC, continuous automated penetration testing, alert triage and investigation, and threat intelligence
• Build and maintain reference implementations, harnesses, and evaluation approaches, and help customers adapt them to their environments and controls
• Run workshops and hands‑on sessions where customer security teams use Claude on their code and workflows
• Equip partners to deliver Claude‑powered security outcomes, with a clear line between what Anthropic delivers and what partners deliver
• Speak credibly to audiences from engineers to CISOs and executives, explaining value and risk in business terms
• Define and track adoption depth for security workloads across accounts, collaborating with Product and Engineering on telemetry
• Write playbooks and best practices for the field
• Develop reference customers who can attest to value
• Stay current on frontier LLM capabilities and new vulnerabilities and attacks
• Travel occasionally to customer sites for workshops and technical deep dives
