Job summary

Thread AI in New York City is seeking a Business Development Representative to build and scale the top of the sales funnel. You will identify, prospect, and qualify new enterprise opportunities, serving as the first contact for potential customers and introducing Thread AI's Lemma platform.

Work with Account Executives and Applied AI Strategists to refine messaging, develop outreach strategies, and grow a qualified pipeline for a fast-moving startup at the forefront of enterprise AI

Qualifications

• 6 months–3 years of sales development/BD or lead-gen in B2B SaaS or enterprise tech.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with C-suite/tech stakeholders.
• Experience using CRM tools and sales engagement platforms.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive outbound prospecting to generate enterprise opportunities.
• Identify key decision-makers and stakeholders within target accounts.
• Qualify inbound leads and marketing-generated opportunities.
• Articulate Thread AI's value proposition to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Schedule discovery calls and product demonstrations for Account Executives.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM and collaborate with marketing.
• Stay informed on AI industry trends and emerging use cases for workflow orchestration.
• Contribute to sales playbooks, scripts, and best practices.
