Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) focusing on Agentforce Operations. This hands-on role designs, builds, and deploys enterprise-grade agentic AI solutions directly inside customer environments, powering the multi-agent orchestration layer and transforming unstructured data into autonomous workflows with humans in the loop.

Qualifications

3+ years of software engineering or technical delivery experience in AI/enterprise systems.
Proficiency in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Apex.
Experience with LLM orchestration and building RAG pipelines.
Knowledge of API design (REST/SOAP) and modern agent protocols.
Experience integrating enterprise apps and deployment infra (Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes).
Willingness to travel 25-30% on-site deployment with key enterprise accounts.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy enterprise-grade agentic AI solutions in customer environments.
Configure multi-agent orchestration and tool-calling logic.
Implement MCP-based agent communication protocols.
Develop real-time data grounding using vector stores and knowledge bases.
Create APIs and integration pipelines to Salesforce Data Cloud and ERPs.
Collaborate with Deployment Strategist and AI Engineers to ship production code.
Build telemetry dashboards and monitor agent performance.
