Job summary

Cotiviti is seeking an Artificial Intelligence Governance Director to provide enterprise‑wide oversight, coordination, and visibility for the AI governance framework. This role ensures responsible AI use, regulatory readiness, and ongoing post‑deployment compliance monitoring across business units.

The position operates with significant autonomy to develop governance standards, reporting mechanisms, and evidence collection while maintaining business-unit ownership for AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Law or Public Policy.
• Advanced degree strongly preferred (JD, Master’s) in law, technology, data, policy, or risk-related fields.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee enterprise AI governance standards, policies, and evidence collection.
• Coordinate reporting to executives and the Board on AI governance maturity and risk.
• Lead cross-functional governance initiatives with legal, compliance, privacy, and IT teams.
