Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Corporation is seeking an AI Governance Process Lead to design and operationalize scalable, responsible AI governance. You will lead end-to-end lifecycle design and governance processes across risk, legal, and technology teams, ensuring compliance as AI initiatives scale.

You will translate governance requirements into actionable workflows, build operating models, and drive adoption through practical rollout across client programs in the US.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in AI governance, including designing and implementing governance operating models
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow AI Control Tower (AICT) or Integrated Risk Management (IRM)
• Strong knowledge of risk assessment, controls, attestation, residual risk, and exception processes
• Proven ability to translate governance requirements into practical, executable processes

Responsibilities

• Design and own the end-to-end AI governance lifecycle, from use-case intake and risk assessment through approval, monitoring, and retirement
• Define AI risk assessment methodology and controls, including attestation, residual-risk evaluation, and exception management
• Establish governance roles, responsibilities, and an operating model that connects business, risk, legal, and technology stakeholders
• Set clear managed-state criteria that define when an AI use case is fully governed and compliant
• Drive adoption by translating governance requirements into practical, executable processes and guiding stakeholders through rollout
