Job summary

Micron Technology in San Jose seeks an AI Engineer for the People Technology group to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered solutions across HR domains and enterprise platforms. You will build intelligent workflows, agents, and integrations while ensuring governance and security within an enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building AI, machine learning, generative AI, intelligent automation, agentic AI solutions in enterprise environments and software development/solution engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, AI, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Advanced expertise with AI coding tools, Python, APIs, enterprise integrations, LLMs, and modern AI architectures.
• Proven experience building and deploying enterprise AI agents that operate across multiple business platforms and technology ecosystems.
• Expertise in multi-agent architectures, agent orchestration, tool calling, workflow automation, RAG, knowledge retrieval, and AI reasoning systems.
• Hands-on experience supporting HR, People Operations, and workforce transformation initiatives, with expertise in Workday, ServiceNow, Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft 365, and end-to-end employee lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities

• AI Product & Solution Development: End-to-end lifecycle from vision to roadmap; design, develop, test, and deploy AI-powered products and workflows.
• AI Agent Engineering: Design/build AI agents that operate across enterprise systems with guardrails and multi-agent coordination.
• Cross-Platform Collaboration & Integration: Build integrations using APIs, event-driven architectures, and enterprise services.
• Technology Innovation: Identify AI transformation opportunities in HR domains and prototype scalable solutions.
• Governance & Responsible AI: Ensure security, privacy, compliance, and governance; monitor and evaluate AI systems.
