Job summary

Wolters Kluwer is seeking an Associate Director for the AI Transformation Office to accelerate responsible AI adoption across the organization. You will partner with leaders across Finance, Data, Technology, HR and other stakeholders to identify opportunities, quantify value, and govern risk while translating questions into rigorous analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, engineering, analytics, or a related quantitative discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, strategic finance, transformation, or a similarly rigorous analytical environment.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience at a leading strategy or management consulting firm.
• Demonstrated experience developing analytical models, defining KPIs, establishing performance baselines, assessing business opportunities, and translating operational improvements into financial impact.
• Experience synthesizing complex information from multiple sources and developing senior-management recommendations.
• Ability to rapidly develop a working understanding of unfamiliar functions, industries, and business processes.
• Experience in B2B technology, software, information services, or professional services preferred.
• Prior experience with AI transformation or emerging technology is helpful, but deep technical AI expertise is not required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and diagnose high-value AI opportunities with leaders and SME.
• Conduct diagnostics to identify bottlenecks, costs, delays, risks, and opportunities.
• Differentiate incremental productivity from transformational AI-enabled workflows and redesign end-to-end processes around human judgment, AI agents, data, and automation.
• Assess scale and materiality of opportunities and identify key value drivers for investment.
• Translate transformation ambitions into a small number of meaningful business and operational KPIs.
• Determine data sources, ownership, and credible baselines; gather and reconcile information across sources.
• Develop and challenge rigorous business cases considering value, feasibility, investment, risk, and adoption.
• Define measurement approaches for pilots and scaled deployments; establish governance for success criteria.
• Build enterprise AI value view and executive-ready materials; communicate recommendations clearly to leadership.
