Job summary

Scale AI seeks a design leader for Enterprise to set direction for design and translate vision into actionable priorities for a growing team. You will hire, mentor, and coach designers, fostering a culture that delivers elegant, data-dense workflows for B2B users.

You will partner with Product and Engineering to drive execution and push the craft beyond simple digitization of AI-powered processes. You will shape Scale's design system, advocate for user needs, and define interaction patterns for

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing product design teams.
• Proven track record of simplifying data-dense, power-user workflows into elegant solutions for B2B and beyond.
• Deeply customer-centric, with a track record of grounding design decisions in real user needs and business impact.
• Fluent in how AI is changing design practice and tooling; building AI-native workflows for your team.
• Experience designing for agentic platforms and shaping interaction patterns for AI and human-in-the-loop systems.
• Balance speed and quality; prioritize ruthlessly and ship without dropping the craft bar.
• Excellent communicator; able to present to leaders and frontline PMs and be heard.

Responsibilities

• Set the direction for Enterprise design and translate the design vision into a motivating team direction.
• Build and lead a growing design team; hire, develop, and establish culture and rhythms.
• Drive design execution across the Enterprise product with product and engineering partners.
• Raise the craft bar by upholding design principles and quality standards.
• Contribute to Scale's shared design system and promote consistent component usage.
• Ground team decisions in user needs and advocate for user-centric research cadences.
• Shape Scale's approach to human-agent interaction and AI-native workflows.
