Job summary

Nth AI is deploying Nexus, an AI-native platform, and is hiring Forward Deployed Engineers to work with enterprise customers from requirements to production handoff.

You will deploy Nexus in customer environments, perform data and semantic validation, and own deployment readiness, while collaborating with the engineering team to turn lessons into reusable tools and improved workflows. Travel to customer sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong Python and SQL skills are required with data modeling fundamentals.
• Hands-on Azure experience, especially Fabric and/or Azure AI Foundry, is highly preferred.
• Ability to write maintainable code and work with APIs, version control, tests, and deployment tooling.
• Confidence working directly with customer engineers, IT teams, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer systems, business requirements, data definitions, access constraints, and success criteria.
• Configure and deploy Nexus in customer environments, connect source systems, and coordinate dependencies with customer IT and data teams.
• Write and debug integrations, Python and SQL transformations, notebooks, APIs, and automation to enable deployments.
• Verify pipelines, relationships, business metrics, and generated assets against source data and customer expectations.
• Own technical testing, issue resolution, acceptance evidence, operational documentation, and deployment stabilization.
• Keep technical stakeholders informed about progress, decisions, dependencies, and risks.
• Turn recurring deployment problems into reusable code, tooling, and improvements with core engineering.
