Job summary

Fundamental Technologies, Inc. is seeking an AI Deployment Strategist to own the outcomes of NEXUS deployments. You sit with customers, turn decisions into use cases, and define value before the model is trained, partnering with a Forward Deployed Engineer to execute.

This role is heavily customer-facing, requires travel, and suits someone who is hungry, articulate, and technically curious about enterprise AI.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years in a client-facing role with measurable outcomes.
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to executives.
• Strong communication and storytelling skills.
• Willingness to travel 50%+ and work with diverse clients.
• Comfortable in a technically curious, fast-moving startup environment.

Responsibilities

• Run discovery with business and data leaders; map decisions to prediction problems and prioritize use cases by value.
• Write the use-case brief for every deployment with key metrics and owners.
• Define value before the build and translate lift into business terms for CFOs.
• Drive adoption by embedding the model into workflows and training users.
• Shape next use cases with a live roadmap and expand opportunities for account teams.
• Collaborate with Forward Deployed Engineer to unblock data access and priorities.
• Report patterns to Product/Research and turn successes into playbooks.
• Travel to customer sites 50% or more of the time.
