Job summary

Fundamental is an AI research lab building the next generation of enterprise decision-making with its NEXUS model. The Solutions Architect will guide customers from discovery through deployment, shaping architectures and ensuring measurable business impact in complex environments.

This hands-on role blends solution design, data science, ML engineering, and production engineering. Travel up to 50% and close collaboration with senior leaders are key parts of the position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical consulting or customer-facing roles.
• Proven ability to lead complex technical implementations across ML and/or Generative AI systems.
• Experience with enterprise customers and multi-stakeholder deployment cycles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Hands-on data manipulation with Python, Pandas and SQL for rapid prototyping.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery to pinpoint high-feasibility, high-impact use cases with clear ROI for NEXUS deployments.
• Partner with Sales to drive the technical win by scoping and building demos, running benchmarks, and prototyping solutions on customer data.
• Own the technical strategy for customers, maintaining deep relationships with senior stakeholders and defining long-term adoption plans.
• Lead end-to-end delivery projects, coordinating Forward Deployed Engineers and customer teams to resolve blockers and align IT, Governance and Business stakeholders.
• Design robust solution architectures and integration patterns for production-grade performance in on-prem, VPC, and legacy environments.
• Translate field patterns into high-signal engineering tickets for Product/Research to inform roadmap.
• Codify deployment strategies into reusable assets and reference architectures to accelerate the team.
• Travel 50% of the time.
