Job summary

Unanet, Inc. seeks an Enterprise AI Data Strategist to lead internal data strategy and architecture for the company’s AI transformation.

You will define a shared data foundation and coordinate across teams to implement it into scalable, secure AI-ready solutions that align with governance and risk frameworks. You will assess the current data environment, set a prioritized roadmap with clear owners, dependencies, and outcomes, and drive the rollout with technical teams to ensure practical,

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of designing data and knowledge foundations for enterprise AI using structured and unstructured data.
• Strong grasp of how AI systems use enterprise data, including retrieval, grounding, context, identity, metadata, and permissions.
• Practical knowledge of cloud data platforms, data modeling, governance, lineage, freshness, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Define a clear, practical strategy for the internal data foundation to support Unanet’s AI strategy.
• Assess the current data environment and build a prioritizedRoadmap with owners, dependencies and outcomes.
• Use priority AI initiatives to test the architecture and create reusable approaches.
• Define how internal data should be organized, connected, secured, and accessible to AI tools and workflows.
• Set standards for data access, integration, compatibility, and reuse.
• Create repeatable processes to give AI solutions reliable context and safe access to source systems.
• Evaluate data platforms and integrations based on business needs, security, cost and maintenance.
• Turn architecture decisions into working solutions with IT and system owners, testing when useful.
• Define data quality, metadata, source-of-truth, ownership and stewardship requirements for AI.
