Nx Overview: Nx is the leading provider of a monorepo build system designed to optimize, maintain, and scale monorepos both locally and on CI. Our innovative technology empowers engineering teams to manage dependencies, automate builds, and enhance productivity, making it an indispensable tool for platform engineering, platform architecture, and software development leaders across industries.

Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated Account Executive who will be the face of Nx for our Enterprise prospects and customers. This individual should act as a trusted technical and business advisor to all contacts within the organizations we engage with.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive strategic growth by leading discussions with prospective customers about their technical requirements.
  • Coordinate logistics with technical resources and account managers internally to facilitate value-based discussions.
  • Identify current pains and blockers preventing prospects and customers from reaching their long-term goals.
  • Build strategic partnerships within deals, connecting leaders from multiple departments.
  • Manage the full customer journey from initial outreach to contract closure, ensuring success and technical validation.
  • Align Nx features with customer needs to address critical business problems.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to qualify potential customers, focusing on companies employing software developers.
  • Educate platform engineering leaders on our monorepo build tool, emphasizing its benefits and functionalities through clear communication.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop targeted strategies and campaigns.
  • Maintain a robust pipeline of leads using CRM software, ensuring accurate interaction tracking.
  • Host discovery calls, provide product demonstrations, and engage in technical validation based on value discussions.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a quota-carrying role with a proven track record of meeting pipeline and revenue targets.
  • Goal-oriented with experience in dynamic environments.
  • Developer tooling and industry experience.
  • Basic understanding of software development processes and challenges (e.g., CI/CD, version control).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience forecasting and strategizing to meet or exceed pipeline goals.
  • Proficiency with CRM (e.g., Salesforce) and sales engagement tools (e.g., Apollo, SalesLoft).
  • Self-motivated, proactive, able to work independently and in teams.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
